Remember! This post was made before I even WATCHED Episode 2 so most of the point-outs were mere speculation that I can now disapprove of.
A new series, a new OP. I personally like this one better than the other Code Geass OPs as it follows the rhythm of the music.
Run Through
We see Lelouch at the start ‘wipe’ away his geass infected eye and at the end we see him ‘activate’ it. Does this mean Lelouch finds a way to control his geass once more?
The Ashford crew. Villetta seems to have joined as the PE (‘Gym’ for you Americans) Teacher probably to keep track of Lelouch. Rolo is sitting next to Lelouch staring at something that we later find out to be a pendant. According to Wikipedia, this pendant was given by Lelouch on Rolo’s birthday.
Nunally seems to be captured. She’s wearing royal clothes and sitting on a royal wheelchair meaning she’s probably been captured by someone from the royal family or ‘V.V’.
The Lancelot with a Hadron gun… Pretty much it.
Two new faces, both from the Knight of the Rounds.
Left: Zino Weinberg with his plane/humanoid Knightmare, Tristan.
Right: Anya Earlstreim, her Knightmare is called Mordred and seems to have a huge Hadron cannon that is formed when the shields on the arm join at the centre.
Left: Kallen is back with her Guren Nishiki, seems to have gotten a new arm.
Right: Toudou’s Gekka Unit, probably being piloted by Toudou himself, fighting against an unknown Knightmare.
Interested image here. We see Rolo next to a Knightmare with ‘dragonfly-like’ wings called Vincent. Since all the other images showed the pilots next to their Knightmares, this must show that Rolo is the pilot.
Without a doubt, Orange-kun is back! Funny how everyone loves him but the majority forgot his real name; Jeremiah Gottwald.
The Chinese Federation with an interesting Knightmare that seems to have some special weapon on its chest.
Left-most: Unknown
Left: Li Xing-ke, he holds a sword that he treasures.
Right: Tenshi, the empress of the federation. Considered to be a ‘puppet’ for the real people in power.
Right-most: General Cao, General of the federation. Lead the Chinese attack on Area 11 which failed due to the LancelotxGawain duo.
The flag of Britainnia along side the Black Knights’ flag. This is the first time we see the official Order of the Black Knights flag representing the symbol of the geass.
Ogi and Villetta are inbetween the two flags showing their seperation and the fact that if either one of them did not exist, the could’ve been together.
Schneizel… That’s about it…
I guess everyone who was alive in the Season 1 finale are still alive in Season 2 and of course a Lelouch x C.C scene, what a great couple they are.
To wrap things up, an image of the entire Black Knight army (wow it’s huge!) and then a flying chess piece, presumably the Queen… Doesn’t make much sense. It could be the King but doesn’t the King have a ‘cross’ on its head? Anyway, it’s flying which means it’s defeated or something along those lines.
